Where is Medizra located and where are instruments manufactured?
Medizra’s headquarters and specialized manufacturing facility are located at Malkay Kalan, Wahid Road, Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan—the recognized international capital for surgical instrument metallurgy.
Unlike trading companies, our instruments are manufactured, hand-calibrated, passivated, and packed directly within our factory facilities before being dispatched to global healthcare distributors.
What stainless steel alloys are used in Medizra instruments?
We work exclusively with certified medical-grade alloys compliant with ASTM and ISO 7153-1 benchmarks:
• AISI 304 / 316L (Austenitic): Used for retractors, speculums, and hollowware requiring maximum anti-corrosion resistance.
• Tungsten Carbide (TC): High-density inserts for scissors and needle holder jaws, identified by gold-plated handles.
Do you provide OEM, private labeling, and custom laser etching?
Yes. Private label contract manufacturing is a core service at Medizra. We provide high-contrast, autoclave-resistant fiber laser marking for:
• Your company or brand logo.
• Specific catalog or reference numbers.
• Batch, lot, and date-of-manufacture codes.
• GS1-compliant 2D DataMatrix (UDI) barcodes for international regulatory traceability.
We also offer custom blister packs, pouch labeling, and retail presentation packaging.
What are your standard Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)?
For standard catalog instruments, our MOQ is generally 25 to 50 pieces per SKU. This enables controlled batch heat treatment and multi-stage chemical passivation to keep unit costs economical.
For newly developed OEM prototypes or custom blueprint instruments, we offer low-volume prototype batches accompanied by initial tooling/die development setup charges.
How fast can I receive evaluation samples?
Standard catalog samples are dispatched within 7 to 10 business days via express couriers (DHL Express, FedEx Priority, or UPS). Bespoke OEM samples requiring custom CNC setup take approximately 14 to 21 business days.
Note: Sample product costs are credited in full against your initial commercial production order.
What quality assurance checks and warranties do you offer?
Every instrument lot must pass Rockwell C hardness verification, ASTM copper-sulfate boil testing for anti-corrosion protection, and optical alignment checks. We back our craftsmanship with a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty covering material defects, premature box-lock wear, and TC delamination.
What shipping freight options and Incoterms do you support?
We routinely arrange international deliveries via:
• Air Courier (DHL/FedEx): Door-to-door delivery within 3–6 business days.
• Air Freight: Airport-to-airport delivery within 5–8 business days for cargo over 100 kg.
• Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL): Economic container shipping via Karachi Port (20–35 days).
We operate under standard ICC Incoterms 2020: EXW, FOB, CIF, CFR, and DAP.
